TEAM KHK MMA BAHRAIN PROVES SUPERIORITY WITH CLEAN SWEEP AT BRAVE CF 101: KHK LEGACY II

Official BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II Results

Isa Town, Bahrain – Just 48 hours after making global MMA history with the monumental BRAVE CF 100 event, the fastest-growing mixed martial arts organisation in the world returned to action at Khalifa Sports City for BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II on Sunday, 9 November.

The KHK Legacy Series continues to honour the Kingdom of Bahrain’s proud martial arts heritage while providing a platform for the next generation of athletes to shine on the international stage. Following the electric atmosphere of BRAVE CF 100, Sunday’s 10-fight card promised another night of world-class competition, featuring nine professional bouts and one high-level amateur contest.

In the main event, Muhammad Idrisov delivered a dominant showing over Marciano Ferreira in a high-stakes flyweight clash that carried added weight following the crowning of Muhammad Mokaev as the new BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion at BRAVE CF 100. With Mokaev in his corner and representing Team KHK MMA Bahrain, Idrisov outclassed Ferreira across all three rounds to earn a clean unanimous decision victory. The win firmly cements Idrisov’s place among the division’s elite and potentially sets up future storylines within BRAVE Combat Federation’s evolving flyweight picture.

The co-main event was short and clinical as lightweight phenom Ramazan Gitinov added yet another submission victory to his streak, dismantling Nursultan Asker in the very first round with a rear-naked choke submission. The finish stood as the only submission of the night, further underlining Gitinov’s reputation as one of the most dangerous grapplers on the BRAVE CF roster.

Elsewhere on the card, Morocco’s Youssef Boughanem continued his impressive transition from elite striking to well-rounded MMA dominance, stopping Anthony Zeidan in the opening round with a barrage of strikes. Post-fight tensions briefly flared between the two, but both athletes eventually exchanged respect inside the BRAVE CF Arena.

Fans were also treated to an instant classic between Dias Yerengaipov and Bayram Shammadov in their catchweight battle, which went the distance before Yerengaipov edged out a split decision win after three back-and-forth rounds.

In one of the night’s standout moments, Bahrain’s very own Janahi twins - Khalifa and Abdulrahman Ali - made history by becoming the first brothers to compete and win on the same BRAVE CF card. Both scored emphatic first-round stoppages in front of their home fans, igniting Khalifa Sports City with pride and emotion.

Meanwhile, long-standing combat sports rivalries came alive once again as India’s Punyajit Likharu and Pakistan’s Aqib Awan met inside the BRAVE cage in a tense bantamweight showdown. The bout ended in a technical draw after Likharu unintentionally landed an eye poke in the third round, bringing an unfortunate close to what had been a spirited back-and-forth contest.

Earlier in the evening, Bahrain’s Ali Hasan Marhoon and Murad Guseinov both secured first-round knockout victories, while amateur standout Yousif Mohammed Kurdi opened the card with a composed unanimous decision victory over Ahmed Adel Ganzoury. These underscored KHK MMA Bahrain’s dominance in the region, as well as on the global MMA landscape.

As BRAVE CF continues to celebrate its landmark 100th event milestone weekend, BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II highlighted the organisation’s commitment to fostering global talent and shining a spotlight on the Kingdom of Bahrain as a world hub for mixed martial arts.

Below are the full results from the action-packed evening.
