Respect and Rivalry Take Center Stage at BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II Face-Offs

Fight week for BRAVE Combat Federation continues in Bahrain as the athletes of BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II took to the scale and faced off one final time ahead of the next fight night at Khalifa Sports City. Following the historic BRAVE CF 100 milestone event on Friday, the promotion returns to action on Sunday, 9 November with a stacked card showcasing the best of Bahrain against some of the world’s top prospects.
The official BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II card features 10 bouts in total - nine professional contests and one amateur opening bout. The overall atmosphere was one of mutual respect, but several encounters hinted at the intensity expected once the cage door closes.
One of the more heated moments came when Khalifa Janahi and Ahmed Waheed Ahmed faced off. After Waheed screamed in Janahi’s face, Janahi responded with a shove before officials stepped in to de-escalate the tension. The altercation didn’t escalate further but certainly set the tone for their super welterweight clash.
Adding a special touch to the event, Khalifa and Abdulrahman Janahi will make BRAVE CF history as the first set of twins to compete on the same card, marking a proud moment for Bahraini mixed martial arts.
Elsewhere, India’s Punyajit Likharu and Pakistan’s Aqib Awan shared a charged yet respectful face-off, bringing a taste of one of South Asia’s greatest sporting rivalries to the BRAVE CF cage.
The intensity peaked during the face-off between Murad Guseinov and Ali Hussein Nedal, when their showdown briefly turned physical before being separated by officials. This was a clear preview of the fireworks expected on fight night.
At the top of the card, the main event fighters, Muhammad Idrisov and Marciano Ferreira, delivered a composed and respectful staredown, neither willing to break eye contact first. With newly crowned BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion Muhammad Mokaev now sitting atop the division, both flyweights know that an impressive win tomorrow could catapult them up the championship ladder.
BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II promises to continue the momentum of BRAVE CF’s landmark 100th event, shining a spotlight on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s finest talents and their global opposition.
