BRAVE CF RETURNS TO INDONESIA FOR BRAVE CF 66

On November 26th, BRAVE Combat Federation returns to Indonesia for BRAVE CF 66.  It will be the promotion’s first trip to the South-East Asia country since early 2018, when BRAVE CF 12 took place in Jakarta. This time, BRAVE Combat Federation will land in Bali for BRAVE CF 66.  Indonesia is a long-term target territory for BRAVE Combat Federation to return after the success of BRAVE CF 12: KHK Legacy, which took place in Jakarta on May 11th, 2018, and featured future Super Lightweight world champion Eldar Eldarov taking on Brian Hooi in a Lightweight main event.

PIVOTAL FLYWEIGHT BOUT BETWEEN ASU ALMABAEV AND MUHAMMAD IDRISOV HEADLINES BRAVE CF 66 

BRAVE Combat Federation’s return to Indonesia has a huge main event as two of the top 125-pounders in the world face off in a pivotal match-up for the future of the Flyweight division. Asu Almabaev will look to cement his place as next in line as he takes on Muhammad Idrisov, one of Bahrain’s brightest stars in the lighter weight-classes.

Almabaev had an unforgettable 2021, when his rear-naked choke win over Aleksander Doslkalchuk back at BRAVE CF 53, earned him two end of the year BRAVE CF awards: submission of the year and breakthrough fighter of the year.  This year, Almabaev extended his winning streak with two more victories, beating Imram Magaramov at BRAVE CF 57 and then earning the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career by edging Zach Makovsky at BRAVE CF 60.
